Podstudio is a podcast studio that runs in your browser. The script scrolls as you speak, and it records lossless WAV with every retake, cough and ad-lib marked, on your own server.

What it does
Lossless recording
Mono or stereo WAV at 16 or 24-bit, saved every 5 s and sent to your server as you record.
Marked, not cut
Retake, cough and ad-lib are one key each. The raw file stays whole; the export adds an edit with your last take of each line.
A guest and a producer
A 6-digit code and a waiting room. Your guest records on their own device while you talk on your usual call.
Hotkey pads
Nine sounds on the number keys, ducked under your voice and saved as their own track.
Yours to run
One small server with two-factor sign-in, a guided installer, and no subscription. MIT licensed.
Where it stands
Podstudio isn't released yet.
Recording, voice follow, guests and exports work today, and the first test on a real server is under way. Expect rough edges and changes between versions until the first release.
